BoomTone DJ - BS215A LED

The BoomTone DJ BS215A LED has been designed for anyone who wants to make a party sound easy. The ABS enclosure houses two 15" bass drivers that deliver generous low frequencies, accompanied by a 1.75" titanium compression driver to project vocals, song lyrics and instruments. The musical power of 500 W, for 250 W RMS, means you can cover a village hall, a bar or a community centre without needing a big rack of separate amps.

The speaker includes a practical USB/SD reader. Audio files stored on a memory stick or card can be played directly from the rear panel, by selecting tracks as you would on a small media player. The FM radio function provides a simple solution for playing continuous background music, for example during an aperitif or a musical brunch. The integrated Bluetooth receiver provides a direct connection from a smartphone or tablet, so you can send a playlist, a hits compilation or even a list of tracks requested by guests.

The connection options cover most common needs. A wired or wireless microphone can be connected via XLR or 6.35 mm jack to host a karaoke session, make announcements or take the floor during a speech. A mixer, DJ controller or audio player can be connected via XLR, RCA or 3.5 mm mini-jack, making it easy to plug in a PC, media player or even a games console for a special evening.

The 2-band equalizer is mounted on the control panel for quick bass and treble adjustments. A few notches are all you need to boost the bass punch of contemporary music or soften the upper end of the spectrum in a room with a bit of reverberation. The LEDs on the front panel provide a luminous backdrop synchronised with the sound diffusion, creating a festive atmosphere as soon as the first track is played. A dedicated ON/OFF button lets you switch off the visual animation when the mood calls for something more discreet.

The XLR line output can be chained to a second active speaker to switch to stereo configuration or increase sound coverage in a large room.
