Midi Cable

Modern MIDI controllers use 3.5mm TRS, stage equipment uses 5-pin DIN; the Boss BMIDI-5-35 bridges this connectivity gap with an angled 3.5mm TRS jack, a 5-pin DIN connector, a three-conductor configuration and a lifetime warranty. It's a direct connection, with no cobbled-together intermediaries.

ARTICLE N° 120543
The Boss BMIDI-5-35 does away with the flying adaptor between a TRS output foot controller and a DIN input effects switcher - that one too many points of failure on the soundstage.

Its angled 3.5 mm TRS jack fits flat onto the side outputs of compact controllers - no mechanical lever on the plug, no risk of it being ripped off when moving around the stage. Its 5-pin DIN male MIDI connector plugs directly into any standard MIDI device. No dongles, no chain of adapters. The three-conductor configuration makes full use of TRS cabling - the MIDI signal passes over the active pins without protocol truncation. Nickel-plated contacts hold the connection over time with no visible oxidation from repeated plugging cycles.

Its 1.5 metre length covers the distance between a floor pedalboard and a side rack or a model amp placed in return. Can be used with any MIDI foot controller, effects switcher or DIN-input expander. Guaranteed for life - which, on an adapter cable, ends the debate.
