Its profile is that of a cable that refuses to reveal itself. No parasitic hum, no haze on the attack transients. The signal passes through cleanly.

The oxygen-free copper conductor is the key element here: its metallurgical purity compresses internal resistance to its physical minimum on this ultra-short path, preserving the integrity of fragile harmonics - the air of a chorus, the bite of an overdrive on attack. The robust braided shield forms a tight Faraday cage around this conductor, impervious to the electromagnetic fields generated by the isolated power supplies screwed under the pedalboard. The woven outer sheath absorbs the permanent bending imposed by the close proximity of the cases without tiring or whitening at the joints. The 24K gold-plated contacts seal the assembly against the oxidation of boxes and nights of wet touring.

On a compact pedalboard, the space between two adjacent jacks is counted in millimetres. The slimline pancake connector - 7.8 mm high, 13.6 mm wide - fits flat against the side of the pedal with precision: no overhang, no conflict with the neighbouring switch. Designed for the Boss 200 and 500 series, it can be adapted without restriction to any compact format with reduced spacing. Guaranteed for life, the BPC-4 installs once, locks in place, and ceases to exist - so that only the signal chain remains.
