Boss - Katana 25

At BOSS, the new Katana-25 guitar amplifier features a 25 W analogue power stage and a specially designed 8-inch speaker. Together, they deliver a dynamic response, with rich bass and detailed treble.

For quiet practice, the Max / 0.5W power selector and headphone output allow you to retain the amp’s tone and essential functions without the risk of disturbing the neighbours.

The Katana-25 features six amp characters, allowing you to explore a range of sonic worlds, from bright, clean tones to high-gain Brown-style overdrive, as well as a dedicated setting for electro-acoustic instruments to broaden your musical horizons.

BOSS has brought together over 60 in-house effects in an effects section that allows for up to 5 effects to be used simultaneously. Furthermore, the gain, volume and 3-band EQ controls ensure immediate ease of use, whilst a Tap Tempo button is provided to synchronise delays with the tempo of your playing.

Tone Settings make managing sounds easy, thanks to 20 built-in presets and 10 free slots to save your own settings. This organisation makes switching between configurations quick, with a clear display that prevents endless fiddling whilst you’re in the middle of a musical idea.

The built-in Bluetooth enables a wireless connection to a smartphone or tablet so you can stream tracks, access the dedicated app and explore BOSS Tone Exchange. The app also offers more precise adjustments for amps and effects, with the option to save new configurations directly to the Tone Setting memories.
