In the early 1960s, the evolution of the electric guitar and its components began to influence art. The beautiful sound of Overdrive, which became known as the “rock sound,” was made possible by an impressive line of tube guitar amps. The evolution of these amps, reflecting the passion of master builders for greater musical expressiveness, gave birth to the legendary “Brown sound.” It was this same passion that inspired BOSS engineers in their search for the ideal rock sound. While the designs of the basic circuit blocks of amps have not changed much in the past, the engineers responsible for their design have patiently contributed to the evolution of the rock sound with their expertise in tuning and manufacturing. And here we are today: the team of Waza specialists at BOSS, with their remarkable know-how, bring to life the new BOSS Waza Amp.
