The CT-S1000V is an instrument that reinvents the concept of the keyboard and the way it's played. It lets you add voices to your performances as intuitively as humming them. What's more, there are 800 sounds to explore, including a collection of ADVANCED SOUNDS, which push the expressive boundaries of the AiX sound source, and classic Casio sounds, the iconic sounds of the Casio synthesizer keyboard range.

The Vocal Synthesis function produces a singing voice using a combination of lyrics and vocal sounds.
The CT-S1000V includes 100 built-in lyrics to get you started, but you can also indulge yourself by creating and recording your own lyrics on the dedicated app.
The keyboard features 22 predefined vocal tones (vocalists), each with a specific character. Each vocalist can be set up differently using the controls available on the panel. You can choose age, gender, vibrato and much more.
You also have a wide range of parameters for customising your voices. Parameters such as attack time, modulation, effects, arpeggiator and a re-trigger function that produces a rapid series of taps when a key is held down.
With the Lyric Creator application, you can upload your own lyrics, provide detailed pronunciation information (for English and Japanese) and create sequences that can be combined to form songs.
You can even create your own vocalist from any audio data. Discover a whole new type of musical performance, previously unavailable to you with conventional audio sources.
Two modes are available:
- Phrase mode is recommended if you want to test your ideas or improvise new songs. The lyrics are sung in the selected order as you play, giving you a very natural playing experience.
- In Note mode, the lyrics are sung syllable by syllable as you press the keys on the keyboard.
Naturally, the CT-S1000V comes with a wide range of built-in effects (100 in total), including compressor, phaser, distortion and wah wah.
Strings of four different effects can be applied to any sound, and thanks to Casio's Active DSP function, you can assign effect parameters to panel knobs, allowing you to make dynamic adjustments in real time.
In addition, there are chorus system, response delay and reverb effects. The flexibility of the effects is also remarkable: you can assign independent effect chains to each sound used with the Layer or Split function, or to the sounds used for the melody and accompaniment parts.
You can also switch seamlessly from one tone to another, as the previous tone naturally finishes playing its effects without being abruptly interrupted.
It's this attention to detail that makes the CT-S1000V a powerful instrument that lets you express yourself with complete freedom.

The CT-S1000V's sampling function allows you to import your own sounds from a smartphone for use as Sampling Melody Tone or Sampling Drum Tones.
When imported as a Melody Tone, the imported audio can be played back as high notes, while audio imported as Drum Tones can be configured to replace isolated percussion sounds within a drum sound.
The maximum sampling time is around 10 seconds for the Melody Tone and around three seconds for each Drum Tone.
Test different types of sound, such as your own voice or ambient noise, then add effects and control parameters in real time with Active DSP. Discover your own musical originality.
The CT-S1000V is also compatible with a wide range of other equipment, thanks to a wide range of external connection options.
Standard line-out jacks are ideal for connecting to a keyboard amplifier, mixer or other equipment, whether you're playing live or recording, and the built-in speakers can be switched off if required.
