The Chandler Limited TG1 is an Abbey Road Special Edition Limiter based on the legendary EMI TG12413 used in the mixing and mastering consoles at EMI and Abbey Road Studios in the 60s and 70s. This Limiter was fitted to all the TG consoles used to record several Beatles, Pink Floyd, including Dark Side of the Moon, Paul McCartney, and the Rolling Stones records at Abbey Road. When you use the Chandler Limited Abbey Road Special Edition TG 1 Limiter you immediately hear the sonic lift. A must have!

Presentation
The Chandler Limited TG1 Abbey Road Special Edition is a reissue of the famous EMI TG12413 limiter, used in EMI and Abbey Road recording and mastering consoles in the late 1960s.
The TG Limiter was originally designed to have the characteristics of the Fairchild 660/670, which was beloved at the time by many EMI engineers, including The Beatles' engineer Geoff Emerick.
The few pieces that were made were never commercially available, and only EMI-owned studios had access to them. The Chandler Limited version has been reworked from the original design information and PCB drawings provided by Abbey Road and EMI, to ensure extreme authenticity.
The Chandler Limited TG1 Abbey Road Limiter features a fully discrete circuit, with transformer balanced inputs and outputs.
The warm and open sound of the TG 1, often compared to that of the Fairchild 670, is very noticeable. For those looking for transparency, Sonovente does not recommend the TG-1, on the other hand if you are looking to beef up and thicken your sound, the TG1 from Chandler Limited is truly a first choice.
