The Code Drumheads GENCL10 Generator Clear 10" tom skin is a double-ply skin designed for fast attack and short sustain. Its 2 plies of 7.5 mils give a more controlled sound, ideal for powerful playing.

The Code Drumheads GENCL10 Generator Clear 10" tom skin is constructed with two clear plies of 7.5 mil each. This double-ply configuration increases strength and produces a more controlled sound than a single-ply skin.
As soon as you strike the drum, the attack comes out quickly and the sound cuts through more quickly. The tom remains precise and legible, even in a busy mix.
An outer ring glued around the skin helps to calm harmonics. Sustain remains short and the sound of the drum remains focused.
This type of head works very well for drummers who play hard. It easily withstands intense rehearsals and regular gigs.
The PET film used for the Generator series is chosen for its strength and stability. The head maintains good tension and responds well to tuning adjustments.
The aluminium banding with steel core distributes tension around the body. On a 10" tom, you get a direct sound, with a strong attack and controlled resonance.
