Singularity Black is a fuzz effect based on a JFET transistor circuit and 3 silicon transistors.
To create a fuzzy, saturated fuzz sound, ideal for rock, simply set the gain to full and the low-pass filter to 1.5 kHz.
To produce a high-pitched, aggressive fuzz sound, ideal for metal, simply set the gain to full and the low-pass filter to 16 kHz.
To generate a more subtle fuzz sound, used in other genres such as blues, jazz or experimental music, set the gain to a moderate level and the low-pass filter to 3.3 kHz.
