The hallmark of the Cort Gold series is the Aged to Vintage (ATV) treatment, which allows the solid Sitka spruce top to harden and open up more over time.
The neck of the Gold has been reinforced with two special inserts for greater rigidity and stability.
These are two walnut inserts, installed to add stability while retaining the natural properties of the wood to further enhance the instrument.
The high density of ebony keeps the sound focused, with greater sound projection than other woods, improving the transfer of string vibrations through the soundboard, body and neck.
