Presentation
When played, the Norman B20 Natural GT Presys II reveals a warm, rounded tone – the hallmark of Canadian-made guitars. The solid Sitka spruce top delivers rich, full-bodied bass and allows the trebles to breathe. The three-ply laminated Canadian wild cherry back and sides soften the attack of the steel strings without dampening their bite.
The D-shaped silver-leaf maple neck moulds comfortably to the palm over time. The rosewood fingerboard, with a 16-inch radius, makes bar chords a breeze across the 21 frets marked with dot inlays. The GraphTech Tusq nut stabilises the tuning note by note, whilst the 3+3 open-back tuning machines keep it stable in the face of temperature fluctuations.
Beneath the bridge, a piezo pickup connected to the Fishman Presys II system converts the vibration of the strings into a signal suitable for live performance. The volume, treble and bass controls allow you to adjust this output to suit the venue, whilst the built-in tuner displays the pitch without the need for a separate tuner pedal.
Built with a dreadnought body and a 25.5-inch scale length, featuring six strings in a right-handed configuration, this guitar has a natural, glossy finish that showcases the wood’s grain. The included gig bag protects the instrument as it moves between the studio and the stage.

Norman draws its identity from the history of the Canadian guitar. The brand was founded in 1972 in La Patrie, Quebec, under the leadership of Norman Boucher and Robert Godin. The B20 is the original model in the B series, featuring a dreadnought body made from Canadian sweet cherry and a solid Sitka spruce top. Its natural finish showcases the woods used. The silver-leaf maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard. This model incorporates a Fishman Presys II system with a built-in tuner and controls for volume, bass and treble. Norman thus emphasises a recognisable modern Canadian identity.
