The C.A.S.T. Intro Bundle, from Cranborne Audio, is an audio distribution system based on the C.A.S.T. system, designed to connect different sections, zones or devices within a studio via the N8 hub and N22 and N22H modules. The complete system enables the connection of the control room and recording spaces by replacing traditional, bulky multi-pair cables with Cat 5e, 6 or 7 cables, without any loss of signal, and simplifies cable management.

Presentation
The C.A.S.T. Intro Bundle from Cranborne Audio integrates into an existing studio setup by replacing traditional multi-pair cables with audio transmission via standard network cables. It simplifies the setup of an audio network using Cat 6 cabling to connect the various work areas within the studio.
The system architecture organises the studio’s audio routing via the N8 hub, structuring the audio streams between the control room and remote areas. The trio of N8, N22 and N22H units thus organises the audio flow by providing input and output points distributed across the C.A.S.T. network, ensuring a clear connection layout.
This distribution approach enables remote spaces up to 100 metres away to be connected, whilst maintaining signal continuity, transmission stability and compatibility with professional audio systems. The system also maintains 48V phantom power across the entire network, even when the modules are located in separate rooms.
The system architecture organises the studio’s audio routing via the N8 hub, structuring the audio streams between the control room and remote areas.
