The DBX 530 is a compact parametric equaliser based on the renowned dbx 905, offering three fully parametric bands with adjustable frequency, gain and bandwidth. It enables precise signal correction, both in the studio and in professional sound reinforcement applications.

The DBX 530 delivers the performance of a professional parametric equaliser in a compact module compatible with 500 Series systems. As the successor to the dbx 905, it features a design engineered to provide precise and flexible control over the audio spectrum in recording, mixing and broadcast applications.
Its three equalisation bands operate in true parametric mode, with independent adjustment of centre frequency, gain and Q-factor. Each band offers a range of -15 to +15 dB, allowing for both subtle adjustments and more significant changes to the sound character.
The low and high bands can be configured in peak or shelf mode to suit different equalisation requirements. For issues with unwanted frequencies or resonances, each band also features an Infinite Notch mode, allowing for highly precise attenuation without affecting the other settings.
