Sound Processing System
The DBX ZC2 EU allows you to remotely control the volume of a system fitted with a DriveRack or ZonePRO processor. Its rotary potentiometer is used to adjust the level, whilst its dedicated button allows you to enable or disable the Mute function.

Presentation
The DBX ZC2 EU is designed for audio installations where the end user needs to be able to easily adjust the sound level without having to access the processor or the control room. It takes the form of a discreet wall-mounted controller incorporating two essential controls: a rotary volume potentiometer and a Mute button. These functions can be programmed via the DBX equipment to which the controller is linked, allowing its behaviour to be tailored to the installation’s configuration.
In a meeting room, for example, the ZC2 EU can be installed near the area occupied by speakers so that they can quickly adjust the playback level. In a restaurant, shop or event venue, it can also be used to give staff local control over the volume without allowing them access to the audio processing system’s more advanced settings. The Mute button, meanwhile, provides immediate action when the audio needs to be temporarily paused.
The EU model is designed for European wall-mounted installations, making it easy to integrate into flush-mounted systems compliant with this standard. Communication with the processor is via CAT5 or CAT5E cable and RJ45 connectors. There are two RJ45 connectors on the controller, whilst DIP switches allow it to be identified within the system.
The ZC2 EU can be used with the DriveRack 220i, DriveRack 260 and ZonePRO processors. Several controllers can be integrated into a single installation, with serial or parallel cabling depending on the chosen architecture. With a ZC-BOB, parallel cabling can extend to approximately 305 m, enabling control to be distributed across large-scale installations.
