Presentation
Designed for long-string guitars, the DiMarzio Occult Classic Bridge DP718KK humbucker pickup can take it! It's Dave Davidson's baby. He developed it for his 26.5" Warrior Jackson, a guitar that exudes brutality.
But behind that black shell, there's precision. Even with complex chords, dragging open strings and high volume, every note remains legible. It keeps the bass well defined, without ever drowning in the mix. And with its medium output level, you can play with the volume pot to go from a wall of sound to a more airy clean.
It's perfect for churning out angry riffs. Metal isn't compulsory, but it's clearly his playground. Thrash, death, prog... he follows. The microphone is encased in a sober, classy black shell.
