The Drawmer 972 Dual Preamplifier is a dual-channel preamp designed for professional audio recording, featuring tools suited to a wide range of microphones and instruments, as well as studio environments requiring faithful reproduction.

Its circuitry, based on components from THAT Corporation, delivers exceptional transparency, with up to 66 dB of graduated gain and precise output control to preserve natural dynamics whilst maintaining a controlled sonic response.

For delicate sources, this preamp features the ‘Lift’ function, which gently boosts very weak signals without overwhelming louder passages, helping to preserve nuances during sensitive recordings whilst exercising a subtle influence on the dynamics.

To clean up the frequency spectrum with precision, Drawmer has included variable high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as a Shape control that adjusts the balance between bass and treble for a harmonious sound character in music and audiovisual productions.
