Engl's Fireball 100 E635 40th Anniversary Ltd is a 100W tube head designed to celebrate the brand's 40th anniversary. A limited edition with a red design and white stripes, it comes with a matching baffle and is often accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Its circuit is based on 4 x 12AX7 preamplifiers and 4 x 6L6 power amplifiers, providing the reserve and dynamic response characteristic of tube constructions. Two independent channels, a three-band EQ complemented by presence and a serial/parallel effects loop make it possible to fine-tune the grain and integrate pedals or processors.
The 4/8/16 ohm outputs, power switch and compact size (71 × 27 × 27 cm, 21 kg) make it easy to use in the studio or on stage. If you want an amp with a distinctive look and a wide range of settings, this limited edition is well worth considering.
