Made in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, Epiphone's 1958 Korina Flying V is an impressive replica of one of the world's most famous and renowned vintage guitars. Like the extremely rare model made by Gibson in 1958, Epiphone's 1958 Korina Flying V™ features a solid Korina body and long-tenon Korina neck with a 1958 Flying V profile.
Presentation
Inspired by the extremely rare original 1958 Flying V, this guitar captures the essence of the bold design and sonic performance that made rock history.
Carefully crafted, its solid Korina body and authentic 1958 Flying V profile Korina neck guarantee rich resonance and optimum playing comfort.
The Indian laurel fingerboard, with its 22 jumbo medium frets and dot inlays, adds a touch of elegance and precision to your playing. The neck and body are joined with a glued long tenon for greater stability and perfect vibration transmission.
On the electronics side, the Korina Flying V is equipped with Gibson BurstBucker 2 and 3 pickups, offering powerful, expressive tones. Each pickup is linked to an independent volume knob, complemented by a master tone control using CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors.
A three-position Switchcraft selector allows you to switch between clean, saturated or a combination of the two.
The aesthetic details are not to be outdone. The Aged Gloss finish, combined with a white and black four-ply pickguard, gold Deluxe tuners and ABR-1 bridge, give this guitar an irresistible vintage look.
The gold-plated brass Flying V tailpiece plate adds an extra touch of sophistication, while the black Top Hat knobs with potentiometer pointers provide classic ergonomics.
Complemented by an Epiphone hard case, this 1958 Korina Flying V is ideal for guitarists looking for a historic, high-performance and aesthetically striking instrument. It embodies a perfect balance between authenticity, modernity and accessibility.
