The EVANS EVCYMSZ1 cymbal sizzler is a revised version of the classic ProMark model, designed to reproduce the effect of rivets on your cymbals while preserving your equipment. It includes two chains, a large one for a louder sound and a small one for a more subtle timbre, as well as felt to protect the cymbal. The hinged design allows you to quickly attach and detach the chain of your choice, making installation quick and easy.
To use, place the cymbal on its stand, position the sizzler with the felt facing downwards and tighten the wing nut. Then attach the selected chain to the main nylon element and adjust the tension slightly to set it in place. It is not necessary to remove the wing nut from the cymbal stand to change the chain. This solution offers a safe, reversible alternative to drilling cymbals.
