The Sabian XSR Effeks Clap cymbal stack adds a unique retro touch to your setup. With its 3 raw bronze B20 elements (11", 13", 15"), it reproduces the famous digital clap of the 80s without using samples. Sabian has eliminated all parasitic metallic resonances, leaving only a dry, precise sound.

With the XSR Effeks Clap cymbal, Sabian has reinvented a sound that was once thought to be the preserve of machines. This stack of 3 cymbals (11, 13 and 15 inches) reproduces the electronic clap effect of retro productions with impressive fidelity.
Where a pedal or sample lacks warmth, this cymbal gives a lively, organic sound. It's made from B20 bronze, with a raw finish that gives it an authentic look and a natural timbre.
Each stroke of the stick triggers a dry attack followed by a clean stop. No long harmonics, no unpleasant high frequencies: just pure snap.
