Presentation
Fender presents the Rosewood Fingerboard Stratocaster Faded Dakota Red from the American Professional Classic series, an eye-catcher with an elegant, slightly aged deep red finish that emphasises Fender's classic style while remaining understated. The lightweight, well-balanced alder body allows for long, comfortable playing, whether in rehearsal, in the studio or on stage. The rosewood fingerboard feels soft and natural under the fingers, ideal for chording, riffing and soloing without fatigue.
Sound-wise, the Coastline™ '57 single-coil pickups reproduce the grain of 1950s Stratocasters. The bridge pickup offers a clear, precise sound, perfect for rhythm patterns that need to break through in a mix. The neck pickup is warmer and rounder, giving body to solos and melodic passages. The intermediate positions add that typical slight dip that makes a Strat so charming, and the Greasebucket™ circuit reduces the treble without losing clarity of sound, to adjust the tone according to the style being played.
The Modern C neck and 22 jumbo medium frets make playing smooth and enjoyable, while the 9.5-inch fingerboard radius facilitates bends and quick articulations. The vintage six-bridge synchronised tremolo retains the classic Stratocaster feel, and the stepped Fender ClassicGear™ tuners ensure stable tuning without changing the retro look of the instrument.
Every detail, from the mint green pickguard to the aged knobs and tips, contributes to this guitar's unique identity. It's for anyone who wants an instrument that's true to the classic Fender sound, but capable of adapting to modern playing, both on stage and in the studio. Supplied with a gig bag, it's ready to follow the musician everywhere, while remaining pleasant to play and to look at.
