Presentation
The Fender American Professional Jazz Bass Maple Natural incorporates the hallmarks of the Jazz Bass® in a version designed to meet the demands of today’s musicians. Its ash body with a polyurethane finish is paired with a maple neck featuring a Slim “C” profile. This design ensures a comfortable grip along the entire 34-inch scale length.
The maple fingerboard features a 9.5-inch radius, 20 Narrow Tall frets and Black Dot inlays. The electronics comprise two V-Mod III Single-Coil Jazz Bass® pickups, paired with two independent volume controls and a master tone control. This configuration allows for easy adjustment of the balance between the two pickups.
The 4-Saddle HiMass™ Pro bridge accommodates both through-body and top-loading string set-ups. The Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style tuners with tapered posts are designed for use with Fender USA 7250M Nickel-Plated Steel strings (.045–.105). The package is completed by a 4-ply Tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel/chrome hardware and a Deluxe moulded case supplied for transporting and protecting the instrument.
