The Ibanez SR500N-MAM Midnight Arctic Ocean Matte is an electric bass with an Okoume body and 5-piece maple/hazelnut neck, designed for a comfortable, precise feel. Its lightweight yet durable Okoume body ensures a clear, solid sound with deep bass and well-defined mids, ideal for funk, rock or contemporary jazz.
The 5-piece Roasted Maple/Walnut neck, bolt-on, has been heat-treated for stability and to withstand variations in temperature and humidity.
Its ergonomic shape and Low Oval profile facilitate fast, fluid playing in all neck positions, right down to the 24ᵉ fret. The Rosewood fingerboard with medium frets offers a natural balance between comfort and precision, for clear articulation and perfectly centred notes.
On the electronics side, Nordstrand Big Break pickups in neck and bridge position produce a powerful, detailed sound, capable of moving from a clear, defined register to a more aggressive, saturated tone, while remaining quiet.
The 3-band system with EQ bypass and midrange selector allows you to sculpt the sound live, with the option of playing in passive mode for a more vintage timbre. The MR5S bridge, adjustable for string spacing, completes this bass, guaranteeing perfect comfort and adaptability.
