Fender - American Professional Precision Bass Maple Aged Cherry Burst

The result of more than seven decades of continuous innovation, the Fender American Professional Precision Bass Maple Aged Cherry Burst embodies the culmination of an unceasing quest for the perfect sound. Its alder body, finished in a durable polyurethane finish, blends harmoniously with a maple neck, whose matching fingerboard continues the classic aesthetic of the legendary Precision.

The Medium “C” profile, carefully rounded fretboard edges and a back finished in a “Super-Natural” satin finish provide outstanding ergonomics, whilst the redesigned heel allows for smooth access to the higher frets. The 9.5-inch radius, 20 Narrow Tall frets and 41.3 mm bone nut complete a design tailored for comfort during extended playing sessions.

At the heart of the instrument, the V-Mod III Split Single-Coil Precision Bass® pickup delivers a punchy attack and renewed clarity, whilst preserving the characteristic tone that has forged the model’s reputation. The Master Volume and Master Tone controls, fitted with ClassicGear™ Precision™ potentiometers, ensure a smooth and precise response.

The HiMass™ Pro bridge, which allows for either through-body or top-load mounting, adapts to the playing feel sought by every bassist. The Fender® Lightweight Vintage-Style tuning machines and nickel/chrome hardware complete a understated and elegant aesthetic, enhanced by the Aged White Pearloid pickguard.

Supplied with Fender® USA 7250M strings and a Deluxe moulded case, this versatile bass is a faithful touring companion, equally at home on the most demanding stages and in the recording studio.
