The Fender American Professional Precision Bass V RW Dark Night embodies more than half a century of continuous refinement, designed for contemporary bassists who demand both low-end extension and harmonic richness. Featuring five strings, it combines a resonant alder body with a maple neck featuring a Modified 1963 “C” profile, whilst the rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5” radius provides a natural curve beneath the fingers.

The meticulously rounded fretboard edges, the ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish on the back of the neck and the redesigned heel transform every movement into a fluid gesture, making it effortless to reach the highest notes. The V-Mod III Split-Coil Precision Bass V pickup, specially developed for this five-string version, delivers enhanced definition whilst retaining the punchy attack and presence that have made the Precision Bass® legendary.
