Fender - American Professional Precision Bass V RW Olympic White

Designed to meet the needs of today’s bassists, the Fender American Professional Precision Bass V RW Olympic White builds on over seventy years of Precision Bass evolution. This five-string version combines an alder body with a maple neck featuring a Modified 1963 ‘C’ profile, complemented by a rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius.

The rounded fretboard edges, the ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish on the back of the neck and the redesigned heel ensure a comfortable grip and easier access to the higher registers. It features a V-Mod III Split-Coil Precision Bass V pickup, developed to offer greater definition whilst retaining the character of the Precision Bass®, with its characteristic attack and presence.

The ClassicGear™ Precision™ potentiometers ensure smooth volume and tone control thanks to a specific torque, precise resistance and a curve optimised for musical performance. The HiMass™ Pro five-saddle bridge allows for either through-body or top-load string routing, depending on the musician’s preference.

The Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style tuners with tapered axles contribute to tuning stability, whilst Fender USA 7250-5M Nickel-Plated Steel strings are fitted as standard. The bass also features a 47.6 mm bone nut, twenty Narrow Tall frets and a four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard that complements its Olympic White finish. Its nickel/chrome hardware blends discreetly into the overall design.

Supplied in a Deluxe Moulded Case, the American Professional Precision Bass V RW Olympic White combines features designed to make playing easier, offer precise adjustments and provide the tonal versatility sought after by bassists using a five-string, whether in rehearsals, the studio or on stage.
