Presentation
The American Vintage 59 Stratocaster comes in two model versions of this pivotal year: one from the beginning of 1959, the other sold later that year. Each offers the end shaped maple neck "C" of that famous year. The first button includes a maple, finish three tones Sunburst faded and a white protective plate (a cover) to eight holes. The second is equipped with a button "slap board" rosewood, a protective plate (three plies) to ten color holes Mint Green and vintage chamfers. Each model features a lightweight alder body ultra, the old plastic control knobs and vintage microphones, trestle bridges and spacing of mechanical, in the purest tradition of the time!
