The Fender Godzilla Distortion pedal is a distortion effect designed for electric guitar, with original Fender circuitry and an active Bass and Treble EQ. Presentation
The Fender Godzilla Distortion effects pedal is a distortion model for electric guitar based on an original circuit designed by Fender. It can be used to generate thick saturation, suitable for both hard-edged rhythms and more prominent solo lines.
The distortion potentiometer acts directly on the saturation level of the signal. Active Bass and Treble EQ can be used to sculpt the sound, with a range of up to 15dB in boost or cut. Internal potentiometers include a midrange trim to add attack and a tone control to control very high frequencies. Input impedance is 500 kΩ and output impedance is 470 ohms.
Power is supplied via a 9 V battery or a negative-centre mains adapter (not included). Power consumption is 80 mA. The case is made of aluminium to withstand the rigours of intensive use. The true bypass switch maintains signal integrity when the effect is switched off. The input and output jacks are positioned on top to optimise space on the pedalboard. The knobs feature a coloured Fender logo, making it easy to read the settings.
The exclusive Godzilla visual wraps the entire case in an enveloping multi-coloured design.
