The Fender Player II Jaguar Birch Green is an electric guitar designed to combine the iconic Fender aesthetic with features for modern playing. It features a streamlined alder body with a high-gloss polyester finish for balance and resonance.
The maple neck has a Modern C profile for a quick, natural grip. The satin urethane finish on the back allows the neck to move smoothly along its entire length. The rosewood slab fingerboard has a 9.5" radius, ideal for both chords and solos. Rounded edges and 22 medium jumbo frets enhance comfort and precision. The short 24" fingerboard gives a supple, responsive feel.
The guitar includes a Jaguar Player AlNiCo V pickup in the bridge position and an AlNiCo II pickup in the neck position. This configuration delivers clear highs, musical mids and controlled lows. Controls include master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. The Jaguar bridge is combined with Mustang bridges and a vintage-style floating vibrato. This system allows for expressive effects while maintaining good tuning stability.
