With the Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS, Fender offers a modernized version of its iconic model, designed for guitarists looking to expand their tonal palette while maintaining the legendary comfort of the Stratocaster. The alder body delivers a balanced tone with crisp mids and clear highs, while the Modern "C"-shaped maple neck with a 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard and rounded edges delivers smooth, playable playability.
With 22 medium jumbo frets, it's ready for fast solos and expressive bends.
The Player II Noiseless pickups in the neck and middle positions deliver all the scintillating character of the Strat, but without any of the extraneous noise.
In the bridge position, a Player II Modified humbucker provides additional gain and warmth for powerful riffs and solos.
A push/pull on the tone control lets you split this humbucker for a more single-coil tone.
The guitar features a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with steel saddles and a chamfered tremolo block, ensuring better response and greater expressiveness.
The short-rod locking tuners and the TUSQ nut ensure excellent tuning stability.
