The Fender Player II Cactus Gray is a solid body Stratocaster equipped with 3 single Player Series AlNiCo V pickups and a 2-point synchronised vibrato. It features an alder body and a Modern C profile maple neck with a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard. This configuration covers a broad spectrum of sound, from clear, precise playing to more biting registers.

Presentation
The Fender Player II Cactus Gray is a Stratocaster designed to meet the demands of today's guitarists. It has a streamlined alder body with a Gloss Polyester finish in Cactus Gray. The maple neck has a Modern C profile. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" (241 mm) radius and rounded edges for a fluid feel. The instrument includes 22 medium jumbo frets and a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm).
The electronics include 3 Player Series Strat® single pickups with AlNiCo V magnets in SSS configuration. The 5-position selector switch allows you to switch between bridge pickups, intermediate combinations and neck pickups. Settings include a Master Volume, a Tone for the neck and centre pickups, and a dedicated Tone for the bridge pickup. The bridge is a 2-point synchronised vibrato design with pressed steel bridges. This design allows for expressive vibrato effects while maintaining good tuning stability.
The hardware is finished in nickel/chrome with a 3-ply Parchment cover plate. The pickup covers, knobs and selector tip are in aged white plastic. The Fender ClassicGear™ tuners feature a modern 18:1 ratio for precise tuning. The guitar is fitted as standard with Fender USA 250L strings in .009-.042 draw.
