Fiio offers the M33 R2R Black, designed to combine the functions of an audiophile portable music player, a USB DAC and a desktop audio source in a single device. Its 24-bit, 192-resistor R2R DAC supports PCM files up to 32-bit / 768 kHz as well as DSD512.
Its amplification circuit, featuring eight operational amplifiers, delivers up to 1,100 mW via the 4.4 mm balanced output and 470 mW via the 3.5 mm unbalanced output to power compatible headphones and earphones. Thanks to Android 13, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (expandable via microSD), navigation remains smooth and the main streaming apps are directly accessible.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (compatible with aptX HD, LDAC and LHDC), AirPlay and DLNA round off its playback capabilities. Its desktop mode, 5.5-inch Hi-Res IPS touchscreen and battery life of over 14 hours when using the 3.5 mm output mean it can be used both at home and on the move.
