The Flight Iris Tenor Calantas ukulele showcases the beauty of natural materials in a tenor model designed to deliver a rich musical expression. Its solid calantas top – a wood belonging to the mahogany family – produces a round tone, rich in mid-range and naturally resonant. Combined with a back and sides made from laminated mahogany, it creates a harmonious balance that showcases both chords and melodic passages equally well.

The tenor size lends greater depth to the playing experience thanks to its 430 mm scale length and 38 mm nut width, providing more space between the strings for enhanced comfort. The okoumé neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, fluorocarbon strings and bone nut complete an instrument that is a pleasure to play and highly responsive. The Iris series’ iconic openwork headstock, the offset fret markers on the fingerboard, the white acrylic binding and the discreet rosette emphasise its elegance without detracting from the natural patterns of the calantas wood, which make each ukulele unique.
