Flight - NUS310 Blackbird Soprano + Housse

As the day draws to a close and the lighting softens, the Flight NUS310 Blackbird completely transforms the atmosphere of an acoustic session. Its all-black body, adorned with rustic Celtic engravings, immediately catches the eye without being over the top.

You can picture it resting on a table during an evening with friends, accompanied by a voice and some percussion, or simply played quietly at home when you fancy a change from the usual atmosphere.

Behind this sombre aesthetic lies the NUS310’s accessible design. The laminated African sapele body features an arched back that enhances resonance and contributes to a clear, brilliant tone.

The African okoumé neck features a composite wood fingerboard, a material chosen specifically to minimise the use of tropical woods. The 12 frets, the markers at the 5th, 7th and 10th frets, and the side markers make it easy to find your way around the neck.

The Blackbird’s character is evident in the details: satin-finished black tuning machines, a black PPS nut and saddle, a walnut bridge and black Flight Nylon strings. A strap button is also fitted to make it easier to hold the instrument whilst playing standing up. And to ensure a smooth transition from home to an impromptu get-together, a padded gig bag and a beginner’s guide are included.
