The Focal Shape 65 is an active proximity monitoring speaker designed for sound professionals looking for precision and versatility.
With its 105 W of power (80 W for bass/midrange and 25 W for treble) and an extended frequency response from 40 Hz to 35 kHz, it offers a rich and detailed sound reproduction, ideal for mixing, music production and mastering.
Equipped with a 25 mm inverted dome tweeter "M" profile in aluminum-magnesium and a 16.5 cm woofer with Flax sandwich cone, made from flax grown in Normandy, this speaker guarantees a faithful and neutral reproduction of the sound spectrum.
TMD technology significantly reduces distortion between 1 and 2 kHz, ensuring excellent linearity in the midrange, while the N.I.C. (Neutral Inductance Circuit) magnetic circuit controls the magnetic field to minimize distortion.
With a maximum SPL of 109 dB and adjustable settings for bass (±6 dB) and treble (±3 dB), the Shape 65 adapts perfectly to any studio environment. Its balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors allow it to be easily connected to various configurations.
Its robust design in 12 mm MDF, with a real walnut finish, combines elegance and durability. The automatic standby mode (< 0.5 W consumption) and the included accessories (rubber pads, power cord) complete its practical profile.
