Studio Monitors

The Trio6 BE black version of Focal represents two monitor speakers, a 3-way and a 2-way, in one and the same box. This monitor speaker, equipped with a Beryllium tweeter + 5-inch W-woofer + 8-inch W-subwoofer, offers a frequency response from 35 Hz to 40 kHz, for full control of the audio signal. In 2-channel mode, the TRIO6BE offers a frequency response of 90 Hz to 20 kHz, to check the quality of transfer mixes on systems with a limited frequency response in the bass such as TVs, computers, cars , mp3 players or any other multimedia system.

  • Settings available on the Focal Trio6 BE:
  • Input Sensitivity: which allows to adapt the input sensitivity of the monitor depending on the source (mixing console, sound card ...).
  • LF Shelving: which allows to activate or not a correction of the sound level below 250 Hz.
  • LMF EQ: which makes it possible to adjust the level of the frequencies low medium. The center frequency is 160 Hz and the Q factor is 1. The corrections are made over a range of ± 3dB.
  • HF Shelving: which allows to activate or not a correction of the sound level starting from 4,5 kHz, according to the acoustics of the room.
