The KRK V8 Series Five and S10.4 combination forms a monitoring system designed to give the mix a precise foundation, with a full-bodied sound and a consistent representation of the audio work across various music production contexts. The V8 Series Five combines detail, dynamic headroom and preamps designed to preserve signal clarity, with amplification suited to studio monitoring and a precisely controlled response. The S10.4 subwoofer reinforces the low-end with a firm and articulate response, whilst acoustic settings and software control add real flexibility, even when the bass starts to take centre stage.

The V8s utilise a 2-way bass-reflex design, featuring an 8-inch woofer made from woven Kevlar aramid fibre and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, delivering a specified frequency response of 32 Hz to 40 kHz and a total power output of 455 W.
The bass section features a 10-inch glass-aramid composite driver, paired with a Class D amplifier delivering 160 W continuous power and a frequency response of 30 Hz to 110 Hz. The S10.4 also features a 4-position crossover and a high-pass filter bypass, which facilitates its integration with various active monitors and maintains full-range listening when the subwoofer is bypassed.
To tailor the sound to the room, the V8 Series Five features 25 fixed EQ presets for frequency limits and tonal adjustment, complemented by 7 parametric EQs with delay. Wireless control via Bluetooth and the KRK Control app also allows functions to be managed individually or in groups, with settings tailored to multiple monitors or multiple workspaces.
The system is ideal for music production, mixing, mastering, sound design, broadcasting, or installations for cinema and immersive audio, with an architecture tailored to these various sound creation environments.
