Neumann - KH 805 II
The Neumann KH 805 II takes bass management in the studio to a whole new level. An active studio subwoofer controlled via DSP, it houses a 10" driver in a bass reflex cabinet with front-mounted vents, ready to descend to 16 Hz with relentless energy. Its Class D amplifier and flexible 2.0 / 0.1 management mean you can keep control of every configuration, whether in stereo or multichannel up to 7.1.4. Designed as the big brother of the KH 750 DSP, it doubles the dynamic range and delivers an SPL of 110dB with surgical transparency. A monster of precision that's as much to feel as it is to hear, with the Neumann acoustic signature as an added bonus.
Presentation
This subwoofer doesn't just play the role of reinforcement, it acts as a real centre of gravity for your system. With its integrated DSP engine and compatibility with the MA 1, you can realign your workspace to the millimetre. You can hear the bass, but above all you can trust them to sculpt your mix, whether you're working on a stereo project or an immersive 7.1.4 configuration.
Thanks to it, you immediately feel that extra breath of air in your heavy mixes: better control of peaks, firmer articulation in the low frequencies and a transparency that doesn't collapse, even at high volumes. It's the tool that keeps your low-end under control, without compromise.
With its multiple routing modes, this subwoofer adapts to your workflow like a chameleon. You can go from a broadcast project to a music production in the blink of an eye, while maintaining stable alignment. And because the Class D amplification is optimised by thermal protection, peak and clip limiters, reliability is never compromised.
Made in the Czech Republic, the KH 805 II is a continuation of the KH series, designed as a complete toolbox for sound professionals. With it, you have a complement designed to evolve: it integrates naturally with the KH 150 and KH 310 and leaves room for future extensions. In short, it's designed to keep pace with your progress and remain a solid foundation, even as your studio grows.
