The Gibson ES-335 Satin in Satin Vintage Burst finish is a half-body guitar that combines tradition and innovation with refined style and exceptional performance. Its meticulous construction and distinctive features make it ideal for a variety of musical genres, from jazz to rock.
The body of the ES-335 is made of maple/poplar/maple top, back and sides, providing rich resonance and clear sound projection. The spruce sides and maple center block reduce feedback while maintaining the instrument's natural resonance. The Satin Vintage Burst finish gives this guitar a classic and elegant look, while the cream binding adds a sophisticated touch.
The set mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile ensures optimal playing comfort and a natural grip. The rosewood fingerboard, with a radius of 12" (305 mm) and 22 Medium Jumbo frets, provides fluid and precise playability, ideal for fast bends and solos. The GraphTech nut, with a width of 1.695" ( 43 mm), offers remarkable tuning stability and constant playing comfort.
The Vintage Deluxe tuners ensure reliable tuning precision, while the nickel hardware, including an ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge and an Aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, guarantees durability and excellent transmission of string vibrations. The five-ply black pickguard completes the guitar's classic aesthetic.
Equipped with Calibrated T-Type Humbucker pickups at the neck and bridge, the ES-335 Satin offers a versatile tonal range, from warm, rich tones to clean, bright tones. The controls consist of two volumes and two tones, allowing precise adjustment of sound nuances. The three-way selector switch provides great flexibility in mic combinations, making it easy to go from a smooth, warm sound to a more aggressive, dynamic sound.

Excellent d'instrument polyvalent même s'il y a beaucoup mieux pour le jazz pur. Gibson est toujours approximatif au niveau du contrôle qualité : micro manche monté à l'envers, action trop importante et truss road à régler, diapason approximatif. Sachant faire et après ces interventions le résultat n'est pas décevant. L'instrument sonne bien, joli sustain et jouabilité certaine. Quant à la finition elle est sympathique en satin vintage burst. Ca nous change des vernis rencontrés partout.
