Beyond his career with the Grateful Dead, Bobby Weir has distinguished himself through his remarkable artistic longevity. As the writer or co-writer of songs that have become iconic – such as ‘Sugar Magnolia’, ‘Playing in the Band’ and ‘Truckin’ – he helped shape an essential repertoire of American rock. His solo album *Ace* (1972) remains a highlight of his discography. In 1994, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside the Grateful Dead, and later received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2024, the band was also honoured by the Kennedy Centre Honors, in recognition of its immense musical and cultural legacy.

Spotlight on
D'Angelico is a New York brand of electric guitars that has existed since 1938. First went unnoticed because the guitars were manufactured only by hand in a very small workshop by two luthiers; it is in 2011, at a show at the New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, that D'Angelico is noticed. Since then, D'Angelico guitars have been a real success thanks to their quality of manufacture and their price.
