The Grace Design m103 is a single-channel Channel Strip without transformer, with Preamp, DI, 3-band EQ and Optical Compressor. The m103 is equipped with the m101's microphone preamplifier, which is a reference for many sound engineers. Its 3-band EQ section minimizes circuitry, and delivers a natural sound from 20Hz to 20kHz. The compressor circuit is based on an optical attenuator, the purest and most reliable gain control mechanism. It allows to gently limit the compression rather heavy, while remaining neutral and transparent. A link / sidechain input on the m103 allows you to insert external sidechain signals (de-esser, ducking) or to connect two m103s together for stereo compression applications.
