The 20" x 14" bass drum generates a wide, controlled bass, while the toms remain precise and easy to tune. The original Remo heads and chrome hardware mean you can start playing straight away in the best possible conditions!

Presentation
The Gretsch CC2-J404-YSF Catalina Club features the 7-ply mahogany architecture introduced when the Catalina Club series was created, a key period in Gretsch's evolution. This choice of wood has a direct influence on the warmth of the timbre and the density of the bass. The 30° chamfer improves the response of the skin and facilitates fine tuning.
The 20" x 14" bass drum offers a solid foundation for jazz, pop or moderate rock. The 12" x 8" tom maintains a clean attack without excessive overtones. The 14" x 14" bass tom develops a deep but restrained resonance. The 14" x 5" snare drum remains responsive and well-defined. The 1.6 mm triple-flange steel hoops ensure even projection. The wood hoops on the bass drum add to the overall coherent sound.
The Mini GTS system limits the transmission of vibrations to the tom stand. The Gas Cap mounting plate stabilises the bass drum on stage and in the studio. The Remo heads selected by Gretsch guarantee a homogenous sound base right from the outset. The chrome hardware supports frequent adjustments without loss of precision.
The Yellow Satin Flame finish is in keeping with the classic Gretsch drum aesthetic.
