The Gretsch Catalina Club CC2-M264-BS Bronze Sparkle is for drummers who want a drum kit that's easy to live with every day. Its compact size takes up very little space without giving the impression of playing on a "reduced" kit. The 16" bass drum keeps a real presence underfoot, the 13" snare responds quickly, and the whole kit sets up quickly, whether at home, in rehearsal or on a small stage.
The 7-ply mahogany construction has a direct influence on the feel under the sticks. The sound remains warm and centred, with a clear mid-range that helps to structure the rhythm without forcing the volume. The 30° bevels make tuning easy and give a regular response, as if the drums were naturally guiding your playing, especially for those looking for a clean, controlled performance.
The original Remo Ambassador heads, 1.6mm steel hoops on the toms and snare, and wood hoops on the bass drum form a coherent, balanced base. The Mini GTS system, single tom holder and bass drum riser simplify installation. Supplied without cymbals or stands, this Catalina Club serves as a clear foundation for building a personal set, without unnecessary compromises.
