Gretsch Guitars - G6136TGQM-59 Limited Edition Quilt Classic Falcon with Bigsby Forge Glow

With the Gretsch G6136TGQM-59 Limited Edition Quilt Classic Falcon with Bigsby electric guitar, the brand offers a variation on the Falcon model combining quilted maple and a Forge Glow finish. Its design highlights the wood’s grain thanks to a Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish, complemented by gold-coloured hardware.

The laminated quilted maple Falcon body features a hollow-body design with connected soundholes and 1959 Trestle Bracing. This construction contributes to the instrument’s character whilst preserving the historic identity of the Falcon platform. The glued maple neck, with a Standard “U” profile, is paired with an ebony fingerboard featuring 22 Medium Jumbo frets. The Mother of Pearl Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays provide elegant marking along the entire length of the neck.

The electronics comprise two TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter’Tron pickups, fitted at the neck and bridge positions. Dedicated volume controls, complemented by a Master Volume control and two three-position switches, allow for easy adjustment of the various available configurations.

The Bigsby B6GVT vibrato is paired with the Space Control bridge and Grover Imperial tuners. The guitar is completed by a bone nut and comes in a Gretsch G6242L 17" Deluxe Hollow Body Hardshell case designed for transporting and protecting the instrument.
