Toggle Switch 3 positions + Split coil :
1. Bridge (Hum Cancelling)
This position has the most attack and bite. Overwound for a big, powerful sound without sounding too dark, an excellent tool for pushing an amp into a singing distortion. Perfect for solos or in your rhythm parts, the HB-2+ humbucker has a bold, rich sound that's equally suited to any musical style.
2. Bridge (Coil Split)
Pulling up on the bridge volume knob splits the humbucker coils in the bridge for single-coil sounds. This position is ideal when extra clarity is required. Although its output is lower when split, the HB-2+ bridge will not sound anaemic.
3. Bridge (Coil Split) + Neck
This position has a full-frequency, almost acoustic tone bit, with additional compression and noise from the split bridge pickup.
4. Bridge + Neck (Hum Cancelling)
This position combines the humbucking tones of the neck and bridge. Thick, creamy mids, fat, round basses and clear highs make for an excellent all-round sound.
5. Bridge (Coil Split) + Neck (Coil Split) (Hum Cancelling)
This position is ideal for funk with big bass and hollow highs. This position has part of the quack typical of out-of-phase pickup settings.
6. Bridge + Neck (Coil Split)
An excellent overall tone, this position has a timbre similar to that of the full bridge and neck combined but with less accentuated midrange. It is an excellent intermediate sound, warm and full of treble.
7. Neck (Coil Split)
Pulling up on the neck volume knob splits the coils of the neck humbucker. This gives an extra sparkle to the smooth, creamy sound of the neck humbucker, ideal for lead lines or rhythm parts that won't get muddy.
8. Neck (Hum Cancelling)
This position produces a warm, rounded sound, from sung lead lines to clean rhythm lines.
