Hagstrom - Adina Dark Storm

The Hagstrom Adina Dark Storm is a 6-string electric guitar that reinterprets the spirit of Hagstrom’s 1960s instruments with a resolutely contemporary approach. Its mahogany body features an asymmetrical double-cutaway shape, topped with a Canadian maple top and a flamed maple veneer. This silhouette gives it a distinctive presence, whilst the Dark Storm finish accentuates its character. Whether you’re working on your songs at home, rehearsing with your band or playing on stage, the Adina has a personality that doesn’t go unnoticed.

In terms of sound, the guitar features two pickups with distinctly different characters. The P-50 P-90-style pickup fitted at the neck delivers a warm and expressive response, particularly suited to melodic parts and vintage tones. At the bridge, the Hagstrom Custom 60 Humbucker provides greater power and impact for rock passages. The tone control features a push/pull switch that allows you to split the humbucker and achieve a single-coil-style tone. This gives you a range of tones without adding extra controls.

The bolt-on Canadian maple neck features a Resinator™ fingerboard with a 15" radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets. Its 25.5" scale length and 43 mm nut width offer a familiar setup for guitarists accustomed to electric guitars of this type. The Wrap-Around bridge, meanwhile, promotes a fast response and extended sustain, with saddles allowing for precise intonation adjustment. Finally, the Hagstrom 19:1 tuners ensure precise tuning.
