Hagstrom - Krona 6 Satin Black

With its Single Cut body shape and Satin Black finish, the Hagstrom Krona 6 boasts a understated design that allows its rock spirit to shine through. This 6-string electric guitar features a mahogany body topped with a Canadian maple top and a flamed maple veneer. This combination of woods provides a warm foundation and supports a dynamic response, whilst the Canadian maple neck features a mortise-and-tenon joint. Its Slim C profile naturally guides the hand along the neck, with a Resinator™ fingerboard featuring a 15" radius, 22 Medium Jumbo frets and a 43 mm GraphTech Black Tusq XL nut.

The Krona’s main feature is a pair of pickups designed to cover two complementary aspects of playing. Positioned at the neck, the Agent-X with AlNiCo 5 magnets prioritises articulation and clarity, making it particularly well-suited to precise tones and melodic passages. In the bridge position, the Penetrator delivers higher output and a more aggressive attack, ideal for adding bite to riffs and overdriven rhythm parts. The 3-position switch allows you to switch quickly between pickups, whilst the two tone controls each feature a push/pull function to split the humbuckers and access single-coil-style tones.

The construction also contributes to the instrument’s character. The Hagstrom Machined Steel Hardtail bridge features machined steel saddles and a string-through-body design, promoting direct vibration transmission and excellent sustain. The Hagstrom locking tuners with a 19:1 ratio facilitate highly precise tuning adjustments.

Finally, the new-generation H-Expander™ truss rod, combined with a dual-action design, offers precise neck adjustment and contributes to the overall stability of the instrument. With its balance of attack, warmth and power, the Krona 6 Satin Black has everything it takes to switch from a clear, defined tone to much more powerful rock sounds.
