Hiwatt - Super Hi-33H

The Hiwatt Super-Hi 33 is designed for guitarists who want a modern hi-gain sound in a more compact format. With its 30 all-tube watts, it offers enough power for rehearsals and small stages while retaining precise control of the sound.

Inspired by the Super-Hi 50, this model retains the Hiwatt DNA: clarity, responsiveness and articulation, even when the gain is pushed to maximum. It's ideal for musicians who play low tunings or extended-string guitars and want to keep each note distinct.

The amp features two independent channels, each with its own gain and volume. This means you can prepare different levels of saturation and easily switch from one to the other using the included footswitch.

The 'Super-Hi Boost' mode adds an extra gain stage, providing a wide sound range: from saturated rhythms to explosive solos, while keeping the sound precise and controlled. Each setting becomes a tool for shaping the sound to suit the style and ambience you're after.

Under the bonnet, four ECC83 tubes power the preamp, while two 6V6s handle the power. This combination ensures a firm but restrained bass, ideal for playing at moderate volume without losing clarity.

The 'Depth' control allows you to fine-tune bass resonance, and the three-band EQ combined with presence sculpts the midrange and treble with precision, for a consistently balanced sound.
