The Elements MK2 635 passive full-range column loudspeaker is designed to be paired with the active subwoofers from HK Audio’s Elements MK2 series. Together, they are intended for event sound reinforcement, live performances or DJ sets, offering wide coverage.
The waveguide with phase plug improves horizontal dispersion and the uniformity of sound radiation, delivering greater depth in the lower-midrange. This results in enhanced intelligibility for vocals, instruments and musical content.
The Elements MK2 110 and 115 Sub A subwoofers automatically detect the number of Elements MK2 635 mid-high frequency columns and adjust the crossover settings to suit the configuration in use. Several units can therefore be combined to extend the system’s reach, without limiting the upgrade to a simple increase in sound level. This architecture maintains uniform coverage across the entire listening area.
The HK Audio SnapLock system facilitates assembly between the mid-treble drivers, spacers and compatible subwoofers. A single action is all it takes to mechanically lock the various parts in place, without the need for tools or visible cables. The robust contact surfaces also minimise susceptibility to wear, dirt and mechanical stress, making the system well-suited to regular use in mobile sound reinforcement set-ups.
