Hotone - SP-30 Ampero Press

The Hotone SP-30 Ampero Press pedal is a simple solution if you want to combine a volume pedal and an expression pedal without adding bulk to your set-up. You can use it as a standard volume pedal, as an expression controller, or utilise both functions at the same time thanks to their dedicated outputs. It’s a real space-saver for pedalboards where every centimetre counts. Its passive design means you can plug it in straight away, without needing a power supply or adapter.

The Volume output and the Expression output are completely independent. For example, you can control the volume whilst simultaneously controlling a modulation effect, a delay or a parameter on your multi-effects unit. The pedal is compatible with Hotone Ampero processors, as well as any device featuring a TRS expression input. This makes it an accessory that’s easy to integrate into a wide variety of set-ups.

The 100 kΩ volume potentiometer and the 10 kΩ expression potentiometer ensure smooth and precise control. Movements remain smooth, whether you’re creating a subtle fade or exercising very gradual control over an effect. The aluminium casing inspires confidence the moment you place it under your foot. Its textured surface improves grip whilst playing.

With its compact size, it takes up little space whilst remaining comfortable to use. Its black and gold finish echoes the style of the Ampero range. Its battery-free operation also reduces the number of cables required in your setup.
